Course Overview

Begin Reading Biblical Hebrew with Confidence

This extensive curriculum includes 16 carefully structured modules and more than 70 video lectures. Dr. Michael G. Wechsler teaches through his textbook line by line, enabling students to keep their eyes on the text as he highlights and explains its key points.

Through scholarly instruction, practical exercises, Hebrew songs, digital flashcards, vocabulary activities, interactive learning tools, and assessments, students develop a strong foundation for reading and understanding the Hebrew Bible in its original language.

Meet Your Professor

Dr. Michael G. Wechsler

Distinguished Biblical Hebrew Scholar, Author, and Professor

Dr. Michael G. Wechsler earned his Ph.D. in Near Eastern Judaica and Judaeo-Arabic from the University of Chicago and his M.A. in Old Testament and Semitics from Trinity International University.

He served as a Professor of Bible at Moody Bible Institute from 2001 to 2024 and is currently a Research Associate at the University of Warsaw, an author for Ariel Ministries, and a Professor of Biblical Hebrew at Ariel College.

A Jewish believer in Yeshua, Dr. Wechsler brings exceptional academic expertise and a distinctly Messianic Jewish perspective to the study of Biblical Hebrew.
