Course Description

  • The Book of Joshua overflows with principles for godly leadership; most reading centers upon practical application.
  • Your faith will be strengthened, your heart encouraged, and your mind sharpened as you study this great Book of Scripture with us.

Special Features of the curricula for this course include:

  • Opening Devotions – Each module begins with worship music, a short devotion, and prayer.
  • Learning Objectives – Students can preview the main topics to be covered for each segment.
  • Required and Optional Reading: Students will read from three well-written textbooks. We also provide several articles and excerpts from respected theologians.
  • Reading Report – To keep students accountable, there is a weekly checklist for reading.
  • Video Lecture Presentations – These are the centerpiece of our courses.  They are professionally produced, high-quality, closed-studio video recordings with on-screen text images, charts, and graphics.  Students can view lectures as many times as needed.
  • Spiritual Growth Assignments – Students will complete creative assignments emphasizing deeper analysis and practical application.
  • Scripture Memory - Students will memorize one new verse each week in a cumulative format to better retain, recall, and internalize the Word of God.
  • Open-Book Quizzes – Our quizzes are challenging, but no stress is involved because all exams are open-book and students can take as long as needed to complete the quiz.  Students can retake exams; the highest grade is the one retained.
  • Create the Exam  – Students will use a special template to design their very own exams based on some of the required readings.
